Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the renewal of education affiliation agreements between Williamson County EMS and Leander Fire Department, Austin Community College, Laramie County Community College, Emergency Management Training and Services, Life Start Training and Consulting.

Background

This is a request for the renewal of existing education affiliation agreements with the increase in compensation being paid to the county to allow their students the opportunity and means to receive supervised experience in a professional setting under direct supervision of a WCEMS qualified instructor during an EMS ride out. The increase is comparable with other EMS services in the area.
