Consider recommendation from Williamson County Conservation Foundation and take appropriate action to confirm Doug Fell and Karen Wind to board positions ending April 2016 and April 2017 respectively.

Background

This action is to confirm the appointment of Doug Fell and Karen Wind to the WCCF Board for terms ending, respectively, as of the Foundation's April 2016 and April 2017 annual meeting. This action is based on recommendation from the WCCF board passed at its August 26 regular board meeting.

Mr. Fell is a resident of the Hutto area, a retired banker, landowner and rancher. After attending the University of Texas and following a 20+ year career in banking he has returned to Williamson County to oversee family agricultural interests. Among his activities he is on the Hutto Economic Development Corporation.

Ms. Wind is a resident of Cedar Park. She serves on the Cedar Park Economic Development Sales Tax Corporation (4A) Board. Karen has had a lifelong interest in conservation and natural resources management. She earned her law degree from Washington University in St. Louis, where she studied the Endangered Species Act in land use and environmental law classes.
