Discuss, consider and take any appropriate action regarding approval of proposed contract extension with Industrial Asphalt & Aggregates LLC, for IFB# 14IFB00209, Asphalt Mixes or, alternatively, authorize Purchasing Agent to advertise for bids of same.

Background

This is the second extension. The contract term will be from October 1, 2014 through April 30, 2015. There was a primary vendor Industrial Asphalt LLC accepting the extension and a secondary vendor, APAC Texas Inc declining the extension. The department recommends the extensionwith only the primary vendor as they value the products and services Industrial Asphalt LLC is providing.
