Motion: To move that the property tax rate be increased by the adoption of a tax rate of $0.489029, which is effectively a 1.49% increase in the tax rate; and of this total tax rate, a tax rate of $0.281529 for each $100 valuation of all taxable property is adopted and levied for purposes of Maintenance and Operations; a tax rate of $0.167500 for each $100 valuation of all taxable property is adopted and levied for the payment of principal and interest on Debt Service; a tax rate of $0.040000 for each $100 valuation of all taxable property is adopted and levied for the Williamson County Road and Bridge Fund (RM/RD); and authorize the County Judge to execute the Order Adopting a Tax Rate for 2013.
