Consider awarding proposals received for Property and Casualty Insurance, 14RFP00202 to the best proposal meeting specifications – Texas Association of Counties - Risk Pool Management and authorize the County Judge to sign the Property Policy.

Background

Texas Association of Counties offers an additional $17,094 discount on the County’s premium for Worker’s Compensation Insurance and provided an annual premium of $198,836 for Property and Casualty Insurance with a $10,000 deductible. TAC currently covers all 254 counties in Texas with some type of insurance coverage and has built a good relationship with Williamson County in the current coverage they provide for Vehicle and Workers’ Comp insurance.
