Discuss and take appropriate action regarding the Standard Utility Agreement with AT&T for utility relocation on the IH 35 Northbound Frontage Road Project and reimbursement of the relocations.

Background

AT&T has existing facilities inside the right of way, which are in conflict with the proposed construction. The existing facilities will be relocated and re-attached to the City of Georgetown’s new poles located around the FM 2243 intersection within the Interstate ROW. The total cost of the relocation is estimated at $42,137.77, with 100% being reimbursed by the County.

AT&T is scheduled to begin this work as soon as the City of Georgetown and Suddenlink are clear. This work is not currently holding up the construction contractor.
