Discuss and take action on a resolution declaring September 2013 as National Preparedness Month in Williamson County.

Background

September has been designated as National Preparedness Month for the purpose of increasing the readiness of our residents. Each year countless families and businesses are affected by an emergency and only through deliberate planning and preparation will the risk to the health and safety of people and pets or damage to homes and businesses be reduced.
