Discuss and take appropriate action acknowledging the Williamson Conservation Foundation’s (WCCF) engagement of the law firm of Sedgwick, LLP to represent and advise the WCCF with respect to various environmental matters including the Williamson County Regional Habitat Conservation Plan and the potential listing of four Central Texas salamanders.

Background

Attorneys Alan Glen, Rebecca Barho and Laura Evans have been representing the WCCF on various environmental matters including the Williamson County Regional Habitat Conservation Plan and the potential listing of four Central Texas salamanders. These attorneys have moved from the firm of Smith Robertson to the firm of Sedgwick, LLP. Due to this move, it is necessary for the WCCF to execute a new engagement agreement with the new firm of Sedgwick, LLP. The fees associated with the legal services to be provided by Sedgwick, LLP will be billed to and paid by the WCCF. This item is intended for disclosure to the Commissioners Court and acknowledgment.
