Consider approving Change Order No. 44 in the amount of $71,999.51 for US 183, a Pass Through Financing project in Precinct Two.

Background

This Change Order adds additional sign quantities and new Contract items to provide for additional signage installation as required per RFI Nos. 45 & 46 and as identified by TxDOT. RFI No. 45 added “Do Not Enter” signs at every intersection of a roadway with each of the US 183 roadways. RFI No. 46 added the relocation, where available, and replacement of necessary existing signs that were not designated in the original design to be relocated or replaced. Other signs added include a “No Engine Brake” sign; state, county & intersecting roads directional signs; speed limit signs; speed limit reduction ahead signs; a city limits sign; one way signs; and turn only signs.
