Consider approving Change Order No. 7 in the amount of -$16,558.50 for Second Street Roadway Improvements, a Road Bond Project in Precinct Four.

Background

This Change Order adds a new Contract Item to allow the Contractor to place one 4" lift of Ty B HMAC in lieu of two 2" lifts of Ty C HMAC, as requested by the Contractor. This change will shorten the impact and inconvenience of paving operations to adjacent property owners by speeding up the placement of these four inches of HMAC and will save the County $1.50/ton.
