Consider approving Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $1,314.05 for Ronald Reagan Blvd. North, Phase 3, a Road Bond Project in Precinct Three.

Background

This Change Order corrects the quantity for the length of the bridge beams at Berry Creek and adds a pay item for drill shaft cores. After reevaluation of the design, six inches of length was added to each of the twelve Type C beams, so that the length of the beams matched the designed span width. The additional length will be paid at the existing bid price.
Additionally, one drill shaft core will be taken on the first drill shaft of each bent to confirm that the shaft is founded on solid material. The dill shaft core price is set by TxDOT Item 416 as $125.00 each.
