Consider approving Change Order No. 8 in the amount of $57,493.64 for US 79 Section 3, a Pass Through Financing Project in Precinct Four.

Background

As required by Item 341 “Dense-Graded Hot-Mix Asphalt (QC/QA)”, this change order adds pay items to adjust the amount of compensation to be paid to the contractor in proportion to the quality of the asphalt produced and placed on the project. This change order only accounts for the proposed westbound lanes. A future change order will account for the remainder of the paving once those items are completed by the Contractor.
