37. Comments from Commissioners.
  Commissioner Birkman reminded the Court they will be dedicating the Community Rooms at J.B. and Hallie Jester Annex from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M on Thursday, September 16th.

Judge Gattis said the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day will be on September 25, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Dell Diamond parking lot. 

Commissioner Long
commented that next Tuesday at 5:30 P.M. there will be a ceremony at the park for scholarship recipients from the Learn to Fish event.

Commissioner Covey commented that she had an opportunity last weekend to be at a fund raiser for wounded soldiers from Ft. Hood at Mel's Bowling Alley in Georgetown.
