To discuss and approve changes to the minutes from the August 31st meeting regarding agenda item #26 budget amendments.

Background

This agenda item was not clear to the recorders of the minutes. Motion by Judge Gattis was to reduce the General Fund budget for 2010-2011 by $41,334 for a full time position in the Hot Check Division of the County Attorney’s office. The position was included in the General Fund budget by the Budget Analyst. This position is normally paid out of funds from the Hot Check Fund.
Commissioner Cynthia Long seconded the motion.

Proposed wording of the change: To amend the minutes of August 31st to clarify the motion to amend the budget on Item #26 to read “Judge Gattis moved to reduce the General Fund budget for FY 2010-2011 recommendations by $41,334.”
