Consider appointing Mr. Matthew Kirke Phillips to ESD Board #2 to serve the unexpired term of Brenda Kaiser through 12/31/10, and to reappoint him to serve a two year term beginning 1/1/11.

Background

Williamson County currently has an opening on the board of ESD #2. One of the commissioners, Brenda Kaiser, got married and moved out of the district. Commissioner Birkman and Commissioner Covey interviewed Mr. Matthew Kirke Phillips and he is being recommended by the current board. Commissioner Birkman and Commissioner Covey also recommend him. He is currently a firefighter in Leander and is recommended by Deputy Chief Bill Gardner as well.
