Discuss and take appropriate action concerning award of contract for tobacco cessation program services as of 10/1/09.

Background

The Williamson County Benefits Committee is recommending award of a contract for tobacco cessation program services under the curriculum of "Beat the Pack" to the Williamson County and Cities Health District (WCCHD) as of 10/1/09. “Beat the Pack” is a tobacco cessation program designed for the worksite. The program offers a step by step guide to help individuals quit smoking. It contains all the information needed to promote and instruct the program.
