Discuss and consider approving a line item transfer for the Sheriff's Office

Background

The annual budget is required to be sumitted in May of each fiscal year and the deadline to achieve certification pay is in September of each fiscal year. This timing difference results in a shortage for the certificate pay line item. This line item transfer will provide sufficient funds to complete fiscal year 08/09.
