Discuss and approve Proposed Service Fees for Fiscal Year 2010.

Background

Due to a new Writ enacted by the legislature (Writ of Restoration) attached please find our current Constable Services Fees and Proposed 2010 Constable Service Fees. (The proposed changes are outlines in red) The proposed version includes the new Writ of Restoration. It also proposes a change and/or clarification in language to a transportation fee to court of jurisdiction as requested by the Auditor’s Office. There are NO CHANGES TO FEES being proposed.

The Constable Service Fees must be approved by the Commissioner’s Court before October 1st so our County Clerk may file said Constable’s Fees with the State Comptroller among other things.
