Consider approving a variance of the subdivision regulations related to the purchase of LCRA lift station site.

Background

The LCRA purchased approximately 3/4 of an acre from Foster San Gabriel Investment, Ltd. for a sewer lift station to serve the LCRA water treatment plant. The site was sold approximately three or four years ago when the alignment of the HWY 183 expansion was uncertain. The alignment has now been determined and the ROW for the expansion has been purchased, so a variance is required to modify the subdivision plat. The dedicated easement to LCRA will benefit the region with the water treatment plant.
