Consider and take appropriate action to renew contract for the 2009 fiscal year with Texas Commission on Environmental Commsion for the Low Income Vehicle Repair Assistance, Retrofit, and Accelerated Vehicle Retirement Program (LIRAP).

Background

The renewal of this contract allows for continuation of the AirCheck Texas ("Drive a Clean Machine") program for the state's 2009 fiscal year. Under this contract Williamson County is projected to receive $1.19 million in grant funds for replacement, repairs and administrative expenses for the 2009 fiscal year.
