On October 23, 2007 the Williamson County Commissioners Court unanimously approved a motion to fund a portion of additions to the Brushy Creek Regional Trail east of I-35 contingent on the City of Round Rock receiving approval from CAMPO for the trail project. On May 13, 2008 CAMPO approved funds for the project. Round Rock will build over two miles of trail for a total estimated cost of $2,936,000. The attached interlocal coordinates the funding.
