52. Comments from Commissioners.
  Commissioner Birkman thanked everyone, specifically Connie Watson and her staff that participated in the Town Hall Meeting.

Commissioner Long said she was excited that another segment of Reagan was opened yesterday and that she is looking forward to the Ranch to Market 2243 to State Highway 29 West section opening in January.

Commissioner Covey noted that they had an Animal Shelter meeting yesterday with the new Director that was very positive and will be having more meetings next week.

Judge Gattis asked for prayers for him to have a safe trip to Galveston today. (Relating to the same trip he started to Galveston three weeks ago when he was in a car accident.)
