Commissioner Birkman congratulated Commissioner Long on 20 years of marriage tomorrow.
Commissioner Long noted that there is a CAMPO vote coming up on October 8th, 2007 for the Transportation Improvement Plan that includes the 290 East project. She said more of the funding for road projects will take city and county partnerships that TXDOT would have traditionally picked up.
She and Commissioner Morrison met with PBS&J on space assessment for the Round Rock Annex; they came up with a revised scope of work and told Bob Space to move forward with it. She said the first phase will focus on space that will be freed up in other County buildings. The second phase is to work on coming up with an automated tool that can be used to make our own space assessment.
Commissioner Covey noted she went to a fund raiser at Cimarron Hills last night. The funds raised are going to help those who have lost loved ones in the war.
Commissioner Morrison noted that he and Commissioner Covey attended the opening of a segment of Toll Road 130 from SH 290 East to SH 71 East.
