NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
WILLIAMSON COUNTY COMMISSIONER’S COURT
Tuesday, Sept. 11th, 2007 at 9:30 a.m.
 
 
The Commissioner’s Court of Williamson County, Texas will meet in special session in the Justice of the Peace, Pct. #3 Courtroom, 301 S.E. Inner Loop, in Georgetown, Texas to consider the following items:
 
 
1.   Citizen comments. Except when public hearings are scheduled for later in the meeting, this will be the only opportunity for citizen input. The Court invites comments on any matter affecting the county, whether on the Agenda or not. Speakers should limit their comments to two minutes. Note that the members of the Court may not comment at the meeting about matters that are not on the agenda.
 
 
2.   Read and approve the minutes of the last meeting.
 
 
3.   Hear County Auditor concerning invoices, bills, Quick Check Report, and Wire Transfers submitted for payment and take appropriate action including, but not limited to approval for payment provided said items are found by the County Auditor to be legal obligations of the county.
 
 
4.   Consider noting in minutes any off right-of-way work on any County road done by Road & Bridge Unified System.

The Consent Agenda includes non-controversial and routine items that the Court may act on with one single vote. The Judge or a Commissioner may pull any item from the consent agenda in order that the court discuss and act upon it individually as part of the Regular Agenda.

19.   Discuss and consider approving the vacation and replacement of an easement for Sendero Springs Section Five, Block F, Lots 27, 28, 31, and 32 also Block G, Lots 2, 3, 8, and 9. Pct. #3
 
42.   Discuss real estate (EXECUTIVE SESSION as per VTCA Govt. Code sec. 551.0721 Deliberation Regarding Real Property.)

20.   Hear Monthly Construction Summary Report for September 2007 from HNTB.
 
21.   Hold 1st Public Hearing on Tax Rate.
 
22.   Announce 2nd Public Hearing on Tax Rate at September 18th, 2007 at 10:00am.
 
23.   Discuss and consider approving Rogers Design Services, PLLC (RDS) Professional Service Agreement (PSA) for CR 214 as part of the 2006 Road Bond Program.
 
24.   Consider a financial partnership with the City of Georgetown in support of a City application to CAMPO for STP-MM funding for Williams Drive construction between Shell Road and FM 3405.
 
25.   Discuss and take appropriate action on road bond program.
 
26.   Consideration and action with respect to “Order Authorizing the Issuance of Williamson County, Texas Unlimited Tax Road Bonds, Series 2007; Levying an Ad Valorem Tax in Support of the Bonds; Approving a Paying Agent/Registrar Agreement, an Official Statement and a Bond Purchase Agreement; Authorizing
Other Matters Relating to the Bonds”.
 
27.   Consideration and action with respect to “Order Authorizing the Issuance of Williamson County, Texas Limited Tax Bonds, Series 2007A; Levying an Ad Valorem Tax in Support of the Bonds; Approving Paying Agent/Registrar Agreement, an Official Statement and a Bond Purchase Agreement; Authorizing Other Matters Related to the Bonds.”
 
28.   Discuss and take appropriate action on courthouse restoration.
 
29.   Discuss and take appropriate action on various County parks and trails projects.
 
30.   Discuss and take appropriate action on Regional Animal Shelter.
 
31.   Discuss and take appropriate action on the authorization of a waiver exempting the County Judge’s approval of electronic requisitions not exceeding $2,000.
 
32.   Consider approving a revised Peace Officer Tenure System and Certification Pay Plan.
 
33.   Consider approving additional appointments of Election Judges and Alternate Judges to serve a term of two years beginning on August 1, 2007 and ending July 31, 2009.
 
34.   Discuss and take appropriate action on appointment of Mayor Pro-Tem of Georgetown as the CAMPO alternate for Mayor Gary Nelon of Georgetown.
 
35.   Consider re-awarding existing contract for printing services – general & specialized forms – D & L Printing and Safeguard Business Systems.
 
36.   Consider authorizing advertising and setting date of October 3, 2007 at 2:00PM in the Purchasing Department to receive bids for road base materials.
 
37.   Consider rejecting bids received for road base materials.
 
38.   Consider awarding medical supply bids for the Jail to the best and lowest meeting specifications.
 
39.   Consider awarding bids for janitorial services to the low bid meeting specifications – Mendoza Maintenance Group, Inc..
 
40.   Discuss and take appropriate action on EDS No. 8 Board Appointment.
 
41.   Discuss and take possible action on the new Round Rock Annex.
