BE IT REMEMBERED that at 1:09 P.M. on TUESDAY, AUGUST 25, 2015, a SPECIAL SESSION - BUDGET WORKSHOP of the Commissioners' Court of Williamson County, Texas, was held with the following being present, to-wit:

1. Review and approval of minutes.
  No action was taken on this item.
             
2. Discuss and take appropriate action regarding the Budget for 2015 - 2016.
  Budget Officer Ashlie Koenig, Rachel Arnold, Executive Assistant to Commissioner of Precinct #3, First Assistant County Auditor Julie Kiley, County Attorney Dee Hobbs, Senior Director of Infrastructure Bob Daigh, Senior Director of Human Resources Tara Raymore, Senior Director of Emergency Services John Sneed, and County Sheriff James Wilson addressed the Court.
  Motion by: Commissioner Precinct 3 Valerie Covey 
  Second by: County Judge Dan A. Gattis 
Motion: To reduce the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) portion of the Sheriff's budget by $172,800.00 to $80,000.00 for ambulance calls to the Jail.

Motion: To move $25,000.00 from the Hot Check Fund to the General Fund (revenue side).

Motion: To reduce the Non-Departmental Contingency to $150,000.00 and the Non-Departmental Miscellaneous to $75,000.00 and add $32,000.00 for the 911 Communication replacement chairs (23).

Motion: To add to the Road and Bridge Budget in the amount of $2,500,000.00 for Roadway Rehab and $1,000,000.00 for Right-of-Way (ROW) and move $250,000.00 out of Salaries with the remaining amount needed to balance the budget to come from Cash Ending.
