Agenda Item
Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Professional Services Agreement between Tyler Technologies and Williamson County for Indigent Defense Best Practices Training on the Odyssey computer system to be paid for from the Texas Indigent Defense Commission grant.
Background
This agreement authorizes a 5-day Odyssey training course on best practices in indigent defense. The trainers will come to the County -- rather than County employees traveling to Tyler's facilities -- so a larger number of employees can be trained at the same time for significantly less cost. This will be paid for out of a grant -- awarded specifically for this purpose -- from the Texas Indigent Defense Commission.
