Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on awarding proposal received for RFP #15RFP125 Health Related Services for Williamson County Employment Benefit Administration - Basic Life, Dependent Life, Voluntary Life, Voluntary Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Voluntary Short Term Disability and Voluntary Long Term Disability for Williamson County, to the best proposer Symetra Life Insurance Company.
Background
After in depth evaluation by the Selection Committee and approval by the Benefits Committee it is the recommendation to award this contract to Symetra, the overall highest scoring proposer. Should there be deviations in the final issued policy in order to clarify implementation details when the new fiscal year begins, the final version will be brought before the Commissioners Court for approval.
