Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on the renewal of property insurance with the Texas Association of Counties and authorize the County Judge to sign all renewal documents for this policy.
Background

Williamson County has property insurance through the Texas Association of Counties and it renews each year in July. The insurance included in the policy covers buildings and contents, mobile equipment, radio systems and towers. The annual premium has increased from $208,892 to $211,416 due to trend and a reduction in the mobile equipment deductible from $10,000 to $1,000.
