Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a Professional Services Agreement between Williamson County, Texas, and Melanie Thevis, D.V.M. for the provision of veterinarian services at the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter; and exemption of these services from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption for personal or professional services, as set forth under Tex. Loc. Gov’t Code § 262.024(a)(4).

Background

This is for our spay/neuter Veterinarian. Dr. MacDonald tendered her resignation and Dr. Thevis is the replacement Veterinarian.
