Discuss and take appropriate action on recognition of Jessica Schmidt, JP #4 chief court administrator, as the CTJPCA Clerk of the Year.

Background

Jessica Schmidt, chief court administrator for Justice of the Peace Judy Schier Hobbs, received the 2013 Clerk of the Year Award from the Central Texas Justice of the Peace & Constable Association (CTJPCA). The award is given for outstanding assistance to the overall court or office administration duties.
Ms. Schmidt has worked for Williamson County in Precinct 4 for more than six years. She currently serves as secretary for the CTJPCA, has served on the Williamson County Child Fatality Review Team for six years and is a member of the Taylor Area Businesswomen.
In her nomination, she is described as a “wonderful asset” who is always “proactive in the needs of this office and of the CTJPCA, making sure that everything is working properly and smoothly.”
