Consider Appointing James W. Bell and Susan Lee to serve as new Assistant Veteran Service Officers for Williamson County Veteran Services, as required by Texas Government Code Sec 434.033.
Background
Per the Texas Government Code, a Veteran Service Officer, or Assistant Service Officer must be appointed and recognized by the Commissioner's Court at hire. This allows the Certification of said officer following training and testing by the Texas Veterans Commission. This Certification must be maintained in order to continue to serve in this capacity.
