Discuss and consider approving Hospital Data Exchange Participation Agreement for EMS.
Background
Consider approving agreement allowing EMS to receive patient outcomes and accurate billing information via the hospital data exchange per approved agreement from Hal Hawes. Data exchange will lead to better patient care through knowing outcomes and more focused education. Once patient care information is in an electronic format and available to all healthcare providers, it can further be used to assess clinical quality measures and report public health information.
