Consider approving Change Order No. 4 in the amount of $5,427.24 for SH 29 Two-Way Left Turn Lane, a Road Bond Project in Precinct Two.

Background

This Change Order extends the culverts for Driveways 15 and 17 to create on continuous culvert instead of two adjacent structures. The change is necessary because there would be no separation between the SETs once the culverts were adjusted to be centered on the existing driveway locations. This Change Order also eliminates concrete rip rap where the High School contractor is going to build future right turn lanes on the north side of the SH 29 ROW. Also added is a driveway at Sta 335+40 which was not included on the plans or evident in the field (issue raised through to a property owner complaint). This Change Order is in the amount of $5,427.24 and does not add or deduct any days to the Contract time.
