Consider approving Change Order No. 3 in the amount of $16,900.00 for SH 29 Two-Way Left Turn Lane, a Road Bond Project in Precinct Two.

Background

This Change Order adds a new Contract Item for compensating the Contractor to expose and adjust the location of the existing AT&T phone line at Driveways 15, 17 and 18 during installation of the driveway culverts. The contractor adjustment of the utility line is in lieu of waiting for AT&T to design & construct a relocation in this area and delaying scheduling critical items on the SH 29 TWLTL project. This Change Order is in the amount of $16,900.00 and adds 54 days to the Contract time.
