To discuss and take appropriate action on the approval of a line item transfer for Road & Bridge.
Background
The transfer into Overtime is necessary to continue to meet customer expectations with regards to the 2012 neighborhood street restoration program. Once door hangers have been distributed to resident homes, Road and Bridge must meet the dates of the scheduled work. The paving crew works late and on days off to meet the schedule, only when necessary.
The transfer into Group Ins/Retirees is necessary to account for an unanticipated number of retirements that occurred this year.
