Hear presentation on Texas Association of Government IT Managers recognition of Williamson County Technology Services as recipient of the Award of Excellence.
Background
The Texas Association of Government Information Technology Managers, (TAGITM), is an organization that provides information technology professionals a forum for collaboration in which we can share ideas and problems and develop solutions.
Each year TAGITM recognizes excellence in outstanding innovation and in the application of leading edge computing and / or communication technologies. Projects are nominated and recognized based on their impact on improving internal operations, providing exceptional customer service or enhancing communications.
This year Williamson County received the 2012 TAGITM Excellence Award in recognition of Williamson County Technology Services’ own Award of Excellence. What is most significant about this is the fact that it has very little to do with technology, and almost everything to do with people... and recognizing -- intentionally recognizing -- people.
