Consider appointment of Darryl Pool to the Board of the Emergency Service District Number Two, with his term to begin immediately and end on Dec. 31, 2013.

Background

Darryl Pool served as a Commissioner on Emergency Service District Number Two from 1996-1998. Mr. Pool has been to a meeting of late and is familiar with the roles and duties of the commissioner and is willing to serve on the board. Commissioner Birkman and Judge Gattis both know Mr. Pool and have for several years and are both recommending his appointment. He comes recommended by other members of the board as well. He will be replacing Paul Tisch who's term began on Jan. 1, 2012 and to end on Dec. 31, 2013.
