Discuss and consider approving a line item transfer for the Elections Department.

Background

Sufficient funds are not available in the budget line to pay personnel for the remaining three Work Periods of the fiscal year. The employee paid from this line has worked additional hours in the office so full-time staff could attend and participate in professional election education programs, assist the trainer in preparing for and conducting summer classes offered to election pollworkers, and so she could attend the Secretary of State's annual election law seminar held in Austin.
