Consider approving Change Order No. 2, in the amount of $41,083.24 for BUS 79 Drainage, a Road Bond project in Precinct 4.

Background
The City of Taylor has requested additional work be added to the contract which will be paid for by the City of Taylor as part of the ILA with Williamson County. As a part of the City’s agreement with Burrows, the City of Taylor has agreed to remove additional concrete in the driveway and add additional interlocking concrete paving blocks, additional concrete paving, and two types of curb. The City also agreed to pay for the relocation of the temporary grinder pump on the Burrows property. In addition, the City of Taylor has also requested utility changes to the contract such as: removing 6” steel encasement, removing a portion of the 1.25” force main, adding 6” water line and fittings, adding 8” waste water line, adding 16” steel casing, and adding an inserta valve (at the detention center.
