Consider and take action upon revision to contract with Ideal Scripts, pharmacy benefits manager, for services to the county's indigent health care program, WilCo Care.

Background

Due to the changes in our arrangement with Ideal Scripts, contracted pharmacy benefits manager for the indigent health care program (WilCo Care) our contract must be revised. In the spring, we instructed Ideal Script to process claims from Lone Star Circle of Care at 340B pricing rates. They began doing so as instructed, but found that the contract must be revised to allow for those cost savings to be passed along to Williamson County. Once the contract has been revised, payments to date will be reprocessed so that Williamson County receives the full benefit of 340B cost savings.

Attached is the contract addendum allowing for pass through pricing for all pharmacies paid on behalf of Williamson County. Whatever any pharmacy is paid, that is the price that will be passed through to Williamson County.

This has been reviewed and approved by Hal Hawes prior to this submission.
