Consider approving Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $26,034.75 for BUS 79 Drainage, a Road Bond Project in Precinct 4.
Background
This change order provides payment to reimburse the contractor for costs associated with addressing Union Pacific Railroad's safety concerns for their employees.  The Line F bore was required to be lengthened under the UPRR rail yard service road and water barriers were added as additional safety devices.  When the bore was lengthened, the run of 8x5 boxes was shortened and the quantity of trench protection required was decreased.
