This is the agreement that had already been approved by the Court for fire services. The City of Cedar Park asked that four words be added to the agreement in Section 4. The sentence previously approved read: "The Department further agrees to indemnify the County for any loss or expense . . . " The city wanted to add "if permitted by law", making the sentence read "the Department further agrees to indemnify the County, if permitted by law, for any loss or expense . . . " Dale Rye agreed to the adding of the words, as it was understood that the law would be followed. |
