Consider approving request by the Cedar Park High School Band Booster Club to hold a band Marchathon on August 16th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm throughout Cedar Park neighborhoods.

Background

This is an annual fund raiser parade that has been sponsored by the Cedar Park Band Booster's Club for several years. The parade will go through several neighborhoods, including Twin Creeks, Deer Creek and the Ranch at Cypress Creek. The Williamson County Sheriff's Office has agreed to assist by providing an escort for the marchers. In addition, there will be no blocking of roadways and the band will step aside if there is an emergency vehicle that needs access to the neighborhoods. There have been no problems during the marchathon in previous years.
