Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 12 in the amount of $15,159.85 for IH 35 NBFR, a Pass Through Financing Project in Commissioner Pct. 3.
Background
This Change Order adds a new Contract item to compensate the Contractor for lowering an existing Atmos Gas service line at Driveway 1 of the Post Office located along FM 2243 in order to clear the grades of the new driveway profile. Atmos Gas required a minimum of 6 inches of clearance between the top of the gas line and the bottom of the concrete driveway, which caused the line to be lowered 18 inches. This Change Order does not add any days to the Contract time.
