Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the increase of the change fund by $650.00 for all four of the Tax Assessor/Collector's offices.

Background

The funds are used to make change during ordinary business transactions. Our new bank, Wells Fargo will charge for change orders. The current change funds are Georgetown $1,050.00; Round Rock $900.00; Cedar Park $900.00 and Taylor $500.00. The number of transactions continue to increase which make the current balances inadequate. The increase in change funds should help keep costs down.

Increasing the change funds in the Cedar Park, Georgetown and Round Rock location to $1,100.00 and the Taylor fund to $700.00 would be a tremendous help to our office and our customers. The total dollar amount necessary to accomplish this is $650.00 (Georgetown increase $50.00; Round Rock increase $200.00; Cedar Park increase $200.00 and Taylor increase $200.00).
