Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on authorizing the approval of 2015 Williamson County optional fees for Road and Bridge as well as Child Safety as designated by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles.

Background

County commissioner’s courts are statutorily required to notify the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) each year regarding the imposition or removal of optional fees such as Road & Bridge and Child Safety Fees. Notice must be made to the TxDMV by September 1st with the new fees taking effect on January 1st. These fees will remain the same as the prior 2014 year. The documentation requires the County Judge's signature prior to submission.
