Discuss and take appropriate action on the FY 2013 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Action Plan.

Background

Williamson County has been awarded a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding allocation of $1,281,490 to successfully support community development and affordable housing efforts for low and moderate-income areas throughout the County. The County has an additional $66,000 to reallocate from FY10 projects that have been canceled. On April 30, 2013 Williamson County Commissioner’s Court approved the initial proposed allocation of these funds. Upon approval of the final Action Plan, the complete document will be available for a 30 day public comment period and submitted to HUD by August 19, 2013.
