Discuss and take appropriate action regarding paying deputies that were called out for the 7 on 7 Football Tournament at the Regional Park under the Extra Duty pay policies versus Regular Duty pay policies.

Background

Deputies were called in to manage traffic control when more people than anticipated attended the event. Several of the officers have various time off in their time sheets. Under Regular Duty pay policies this time would be placed back in their bank to balance them back to 85 hours for the pay period before Overtime Rules would apply. Under Extra Duty Pay polices this leave is paid along with the Extra Duty hours worked. The employees are not balanced back to 85 hours.
