Discuss and take appropriate action on approval of order on closure, vacation and abandonment of old former public road in 0.986 acre tract and authorizing the County Judge to execute a quitclaim deed to Zimmerhanzel Family Limited Partnership, Pct. 4.

Background

The Zimmerhanzel family is in the process of selling their store. Their title work shows that buildings that are at least 50 years old are sitting on old right-of-way (ROW). This action is intended to help clear the title. There is no current evidence that the ROW to be abandoned will be needed in the future.
