Discuss and take appropriate action regarding a Standard Utility Agreement with AT&T for utility relocation on RM 620 and partial reimbursement of the relocations.

Background

AT&T has existing facilities located both inside the RM 620 right of way and outside in existing public utility easements, which are in conflict with the proposed construction. The Standard Utility Agreement allows them to relocate their facilities in the proposed RM 620 right of way and/or new public utility easements. This relocation is 18.28% reimbursable due to the proportion of lines within easements. The County will reimburse AT&T an estimated $41,842.50 (18.28% of the total estimated $228,897.71 cost) for the relocation of 3,064 feet of telephone and fiber optic cables. The cost of relocation includes construction, engineering and inspection costs.
